Back to Work

Forgot I'd written this after (or possibly before) the trip back from Puerto Rico. But I'm back and it's about that time for Fall! Here's the post.

Going on vacation was one of the best things for my writing. I realized a lot of things. These are on par with the lessons I've learned--truths that are seen and need to be realized.

These are things that won't present themselves openly--at least most of the time.

But the break I took is like I had said before. It's good to take off once in a while. Watch a show, cook something nice for dinner, go for a walk and look at nature, maybe play some video games (if that's your thing). If you don't do something else, you end up inundating yourself with your craft and it might feel like a job. And not in a good way.

Of course the saying goes if you love what you do you never work a day in your life, but you still need to take breaks. Then again, there are those few who don't. But not everyone is wired like that.

One day I hope to do this for a living. Until then, it's back to the grind.
