Draw From Life
When writing it's best to draw on inner feelings and events. Not only can it heal the writer, but on a deep level others can relate. Gary and I talk about drawing from within on this episode. Please subscribe if you like what you've watched. Thank you. WCM
The brightest flame burns quickest. Or like Lao Tzu said originally "The flame that burns twice as bright burns half as long." Sounds about right. You push too hard and you burn out. There you go. Burn. Candles. Get it? Well, it's true. Pushing yourself to achieve a goal is a good thing, but to over exert one's self is not. It's not only disaster that can take place, but total burn out--and then it's just not as fun. A little extra work never killed anyone, until you take it too far, you neglect your family, life. Yes, you're doing more, but now your spouse despises you. Your kids don't know you, and you may be getting sick. Now it's too late. You've gone and pushed yourself to the limits. And in the interim you've neglected a lot of things. Probably even your health. Now you're sick, about to cash in your ticket. And you look around. What did it get you? Your kids are grown a bit, maybe spouse left you. You
I was checking out Amazon and looking around, you know Black Friday, etc. And I was looking at some author stuff and realized on my author page that my blog posts go there. Ha ha. I had totally forgot. I am slowly getting back my creativity. Shut off the news. Drinking tons of coffee. And slowly mapping out a strategy, a trajectory for my writing. I want to write, but I open a Word document, or this blog, and lose something. The feeling, a thought. Some may call it writers block, but I don't think so. I have another post I had made, had the pictures, and abandoned it. I may still do it. Let's see. Going to work on the YouTube channel, as well. There has been a lot I've learned during this contemplation. A lot. Talk soon. WCM
